Description: HK-308 is considered "very rare" in the Hibler-Kappen reference and the low number of appearances in past sales affirms this assessment. The obverse appears to qualify for at least a cameo designation (the grading services will designate such where appropriate for so-called dollars) but minimal contrast on the reverse may preclude such consideration. Bone-grey patina has settled across each side and helps attenuate the effect of fleeting hairlines in the fields.
