Description:	One of the very popular so-called dollar types, the coins minted for the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exhibition in St. Louis were struck in seven different formats, although only a single piece was struck in pure gold. Thus, fully half the collectable formats are herein presented, each certified by NGC. These may be quickly itemized as follows: HK-299 (silver) (MS-64, delightful lavender patina), HK-301 (copper) (MS-65 RB, but certainly more brown than red), and HK-302 (yellow bronze) (MS-66, terrific despite the usual incompleteness of strike on the cheek). Three coin lot.
