Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1884-CC PCGS AU-53
Lot Number: 450
Description: Mintage: 9925. 29 graded AU-53, 81 higher at PCGS. A considerable percentage of the extant population has been certified for 1882-CC though of course, one must expect inflation by crackout artists. Unexpectedly bold luster bounces across the fields, the vibrancy slightly depleted by a layer of molten gold hue. Curious, raised diagonal lines on the portrait are as-struck by the only known pair of dies.
