Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1883-CC NGC AU-58
Lot Number: 449
Description: Mintage: 12,000. 25 graded AU-58, 10 higher at NGC. Marvelously lustrous, nearly to the level of a choice unc example despite subtle finger friction that affects the fields. With such a low mintage, collectors today only expect this to be a rare coin in UNC and population reports support that observation. This example received a preeminent strike off the dies and a brief stint in circulation has basically not affected sharpness at all.
