Description: Silken Row Collection. Ex-Dauer. Merely a couple of Fr.359s have managed to achieve the CU66 grade, placing this example at the pinnacle of quality available off of a fairly low population Friedberg number. It is nearly a mind-boggling specimen that boasts pristine, pure ivory paper and exquisitely dark grey and black ink. A tiny orange dot lands on Stanton's lip and appears to be utterly the only thing barring essential perfection. The Dauer collection was the first and only to be complete for all known U.S. type notes, thus the provenance carries considerable weight for potential bidders.
