Description: Jonquil Collection. First is a remarkably preserved 1794 Franklin Press in the late die-state, showing the large rectangular break on the press with an additional crack extending right, this coin wonderfully free from distraction. Next is a 1795 Talbot, Allum & Lee cent, struck in England and distributed in New York, this example handsomely endowed with leather-brown surfaces and slightly dryish texture. Third and final is a 1783 Washington UNITY STATES copper, actually struck some 40 years later in Birmingham, but seemingly designed so as to appear already worn when struck. A terrific example showing ideal color and simply no distracting marks. Three coin lot.
