Description:	Wholly original! Not even a shadow of doubt creeps into the mind that this five-coin 1940 proof set is a truly original collection that was simply removed from its original packaging and shipped off to NGC. Nearly identical khaki-brown hues form crescent shaped toning on each of the three silver issues while the Jefferson nickel offers a traditional steel grey appeal along with a burning red Lincoln cent to boot. No dipping or conservation of any kind has altered this wonderfully uniform set. NGC graded this entire set which includes a 1940 PR-64 Walking Liberty half, a 1940 PR-65 Washington quarter, a 1940 PR-63 Mercury dime, a 1940 Rev of ’38 PR-65 Jefferson nickel, and a 1940 PR-62 RD Lincoln Cent (ck).
