Description: An exceptional example for the grade, and lying directly on the cusp of "very fine", the NGC F-15 grade could not be more apt for a key silver dollar of this stature. Beautiful dove-grey caresses the entire surface, augmented by portions of subdued pewter on the highpoints, such as the broad, worn curl over the ear and on the forward portion of Liberty's cheek. Nearly all of the eagle's wing details are present, lacking ideal representation only within a few of the upper feathers. Best of all for any large coin in the lower grade ranges, there have been no problems since the day the coin entered circulation, such that the surface exhibits zero important abrasions, and shows only a few delicate, normal circulation marks throughout.
