Description: Amazingly problem-free and a fabulous survivor that saw long service within the channels of commerce, this 1893-S has just about the ideal "look and feel" for the VG-10 grade. Absolutely perfect dove-grey and charcoal lead to a smooth, honestly circulated appearance that could be a poster-child representation of the grade. While broadly flattened as expected, given the amount of wear, major details are boldly outlined, and even a few of the descending curls retain some semblance of definition. The eagle's wings are nearly flat, and it is only here, on the reverse, where some trivial, ancient hairline scratches may be found.
