Description: Both sides, but especially the reverse offers generous luster for the about-uncirculated grade, and flashy portions of the obverse suggest that side may have been somewhat semi-prooflike upon being struck. Double-eagles of this era are often seen heavily abraded and a bit misused, but the appeal of this example stems from smooth, honest luster and rather minimal contact marks.
