Lot #: Go
Lot Title: Eighty-three large cents in a Dansco album
Lot Number: 523
Description: Rapid Reaction: "exciting". Twenty-eight holes are unfilled within the standard portion of the album, but the last page features fourteen additional pieces, some duplicates, somewhat augmenting the appeal. As expected, the earliest and toughest pieces are excluded, such as 1793 through 1796, 1799, and 1804. 1797 - 1806 appear to be of About Good quality, 1807 to 1826 feature coins at the Good level, including some surprisingly decent 1810, 1812 and 1814 Classic Head examples. The VG grade applies to coins dated 1827 to 1835, with advancing dates becoming progressively nicer. 1843 and most later dates grade very-fine or so. Eighty-three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
