Description: Intricate definition will be the hallmark for this excellent proof dime, and we believe it is a dead-on cameo example even though such is not designated on the slab. This is typically the case for original proof silver that hasn't been dipped to reveal the true depth of contrast. And, it's a good thing nobody has dipped this coin, as the obverse displays a dramatic toning pattern, including gleaming peripheral sunrise-gold that surrounds ocean-blue and tropical green coloration nearer the centers. The reverse has an altogether different toning pattern, as cool navy-blue, cobalt-gold and magenta surround the violet centers.
