Description: The Legal Eagle Collection. An outrageous, screaming multifaceted superb gem, this dime could easily be THE cornerstone highlight in any Barber proof type set. Both sides are positively sweltering under searing waves of indigo-jade, chartreuse-cobalt and magenta-grey shades that ebb and flow with the dazzling power of proof luster. Putting a loupe on the surface only continues to add to the visual wonderment, as the seething colors shimmer with vibrancy. The surface is not far from technical perfection, either, as we are unable to find any distracting post-mint aberrations, although a tiny, curling strike-through, as-struck, may be seen fluttering out in front of the neck. The Scotsman Cataloger's Choice award typically gets enacted only upon reflection and pondering over the merits of any contender, but in this case, there was never a doubt after even one glance that this wonder-gem would rise to the top of the list. An utterly sensational coin.
