Description: Newcomb-10. Fully a quarter of the obverse, and one-third of the reverse surface, still gleams with gorgeous brick-red mint luster. A lock-down gem by any reasonable commercial standard, both sides have managed to deflect any possible contact, although a couple of thin, dainty luster grazes rest in the obverse far left field. A nearly stunning gem, the surface stability is undoubtedly assured by the age of the NGC no-line holder.
