Description: 1854 has a nicely doubled base on the "1" of the date, and this is an especially clean near-gem example that offers flawless, even brown patina and lovely sharpness. 1855 has a couple of die dots on the cheek that may aid attribution for someone so-inclined. Both are basically carbon-free, premium examples in this two coin lot.
