Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1889-S, 1891-S, and 1899-S, all from Redfield Collection, as described
Lot Number: 662
Description: San Francisco emissions only comprise this trio of Redfield silver dollars, and that provenance all by itself should instantly assure high value within. The holders, as usual, optimistically proclaim a grade of MS-65 for each, but more specific details can be tallied as follows: 1889-S (MS-63, significant dashes of color strewn toward the obverse rim), 1891-S (MS-64, wonderful sweeping luster and narrowly distributed rim toning), and 1899-S (MS-63, small ticks on the cheek and fully luster slightly subdued by platinum-grey patina). Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
