Description: Glossy eggshell-grey suggests an older cleaning, with some color thankfully recovered for both sides. Given sufficient time in an album, recovery might lead to a straight grade down the road. What remains of the original surface reveals the slightly reflective semi-prooflike character typical of 1889-CC. Aside from the expected curling hairlines, the only surface markings of note include a couple of ticks resting next to Liberty's eye, and an additional mark on the cheek. A comparatively affordable representation for this coveted Carson City product.
