Description:	Pevely Farms Consignment. As a date, 1879 is the first proof only emission for the Trade dollar series, and this one shows much of the cameo presentation often seen for the date. Because this particular example has evidently never been conserved, considerable toning remains on both sides but denies free examination of the surface for hairlines. Fortunately, no other detractions can be noted, aside from trivial contact, including a vaguely formed tick on Liberty's upper arm.
