Description: Gavin "John" Rose Collection. 5 graded MS-66, zero higher at PCGS. Stark almond-grey graces both sides, showing gentle splashes of subtle caramel-gold, more so on the reverse than the obverse. A couple of die cracks have begun to form on the reverse, yet the reasonably fresh dies were able to create a clean, accurate impression for this very-gem example. Eye-appeal further benefits from smooth, satin-grey lustrous patina. No obvious upgrade deterrents will be found on either side, but the luster may not be sufficiently vigorous to qualify for upgrade consideration.
