Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1859 PCGS MS-64 CACCAC
Lot Number: 170
Description: As viewed from the obverse, coloration looks almost exactly like that of a later mint-red bronze cent, rather than what one expects of a typical copper-nickel example. That said, the reverse has faded toward the distinctive olive-tan that is more common. Beautiful, steady luster shimmers everywhere, and with no major contact marks, it's no wonder this popular inaugural Indian cent falls so close to the gem level.
