Description: Harry Henger Consignment. 4 graded VF-20, 9 higher at PCGS. Sheldon-191 obviously features the rare event of an overdate crossing over the intersection of two different centuries, along with the "first style" portrait. Die cracks through the latter few letters of AMERICA affirm the die-marriage. Very few S-191 examples have been graded at better circulated levels through PCGS, and even this imperfect example shows isolated environmental effects, including some raised bumps in front of the portrait and scattered toward the obverse right side. Fortunately, the outstanding dark walnut color and commendable sharpness make up for many shortcomings.
