Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1794 Head of 1794 S-63 F details/environmental damage, and an 1800 S-211 Genuine, both PCGS
Lot Number: 160
Description: Ex-Heritage, Ellsworth Collection, 9/28/2015 (both coins). 1794 S-63 offers fairly bold definition throughout despite moderate wear, but also suffers substantial corruption of the surface texture due to corrosive action (possibly a "dug" coin). 1800 S-211 features substantial, heavy wear but has a surprisingly smooth surface given the PCGS "altered surface" designation (code 94). One might well suspect it has been lightly burnished and recolored to maximize potential eye-appeal. Two coin lot.
