Description: CC Connelly Collection. A fairly common general size for a San Francisco ingot, the stamped weight of 5.02 ounces indicates dimensions too small to receive a good, full imprint from the mint's seal. Curiously, a drilled area within the imprint appears to be mint-made because the cataloger carefully verified the precise weight at 5.020 ounces of .9995 fine silver. The bar measures approximately 1.25" x 3.00" x 0.275" and based upon the collection history, was likely purchased during the 1950s.
