Description: Wiley-Bugert-43, R.7 (?). Cataloger's grade: [XF/cleaned], A type-2 reverse with "very small S" helps ascertain the die-marriage. For the original Wiley-Bugert reference, only a single example was documented although a handful more have come to light over the past three decades. These were evidently struck prooflike and closer inspection reveals hints of remaining reflectivity within protected areas. Chalky aspect and some trivial hairlining speak to past cleaning yet some color has already begun to return to the reverse periphery.
