Description: The First Through Last Collection. 15 graded MS-66, 4 higher at NGC. Blatantly a classic date for type purposes, 1877-S is generally a common half-dollar at the mint-state level, but not too many surpass this very-gem example. Mesmerizing luster takes full advantage of the blast-white surface, utterly devoid of any sign of toning whatsoever. Two bagmarks happen to land on Liberty's face while the rest of the surface enjoys unusually freedom from abrasions.
