Description: Quint Gomillion Colllection. 8 graded MS-66, 1 graded MS-66+, zero higher at PCGS. Ex-Pryor Collection. This faintly toned, but not colorless example stands right on the cusp of "finest known" per PCGS. That it spent much time in an album despite limited toning can be inferred by the darkened steel-blue reeded edge as well as highly attractive if subtle almond-pink toning that descends inward from the rims. A small scribble between Liberty's head and the Liberty cap distracts scarcely at all from the phenomenal strike and impeccable preservation. Struck off of slightly clashed dies.
