Likely undergraded by today's standards, CAC approves of the quality while the cataloger feels the coin would jump by at least a point upon resubmission, although that would mean losing out on the highly desirable "embossed slab" by NGC. Fabulous luster erupts from under a lamp when viewing this coin, while the strike falls right on the cusp of perfection. Splashy russet-grey and bronze toning enhances the original eye-appeal.
