Description: High Promises Collection. Type I / II, tall mintmark. 45 graded MS-61, 152 higher at PCGS. This is the rare variety for 1875-CC that commands a sizable premium over the more common type-I reverse. Modest russet-gold embraces the surface with soft, glowing luster. Not very well struck overall, the reverse retains a fair number of roller marks, indicative of a strike not powerful enough to remove them entirely. Delicately abraded overall with some light hairlines that figure into the grade.
