Description: High Promises Collection. 15 graded MS-63, 35 higher at PCGS. Type I / II. A failing reverse die helps to solve the mystery of why the strike here is not as complete as seen on other examples of 1875. Nevertheless, potent luster contests the quelling efforts of a thick blanket of smoke-grey patina across the complete surface. Two bagmarks above the shoulder bear mention while other trivial abrasions are of little importance.
