Description: Dr Holz Daniels Collection. At first glance this run of twenty-three Classic Commemorative half-dollars appears to be filled with Almost Uncirculated and Uncirculated examples. Upon further review, nearly all have signs of being cleaned at some point in the past. Includes in this large grouping is an 1893 Columbian Exposition, a 1918 Lincoln, a 1920 Pilgrim, a 1923-S Monroe, a 1924 Hugenot, a 1925 Lexington, a 1925 Stone Mountain, a 1934 Texas, a 1936 Arkansas, a 1936 Boone, a 1936 Cleveland, a 1936 Columbia, a 1936-D Rhode Island, a 1936-D Texas, a 1937 Roanoke, 2x 1946 BTW, a 1946-D BTW, a 1946-S BTW, a 1952 GW Carver, a 1954 GW Carver, a 1954-D GW carver, and a 1954-S GW Carver. The only issues that appear to be nice and original examples are the Stone Mountain, three of the 1946 BTW’s, and the 1952 GW Carver (ck).
