Description: Al Jimi Veres Collection. Low-key surfaces display silver-grey toning overall, surrounded by golden hue on the rims that suggests prior, long album placement. The details seem to be absolutely top-notch for the VF-35 grade -- borderline XF overall -- but to NGC's credit, they may have gone slightly conservative to take into account a bare minimal trace of luster and slightly profuse yet delicate circulation abrasions on the cheek. Under a loupe, individual feather details just start to emerge around the outside of the eagle's breast, while the curl over Liberty's ear is not quite as flat as is often seen on comparatively graded key dollars.
