Standing right on the cusp of "finest known", this prodigiously attractive example features an astounding strike, probably as close to perfection as any 1878-CC can get. Aside from a whispered layer of bronze-gold atop the shining surface, either side offers beautiful cameo effect, with all devices decorated by delicate, matte texture. Some shimmering luster haunts the fields but even through the plastic, there can be no doubt about the depth of reflectivity.
