Description: The Sing-A-Song Collection. VAM-11, Top-100 "lines in wing". The reverse die was amateurishly mishandled at the mint and many die gouges and grooves were somehow permitted to damage the die, resulting in the raised lines popular today with VAM collectors. Besides the technical appeal, this dollar also features intriguing toning, undoubtedly from storage in an old Whitman (or similar) folder which created rose-magenta, lime-green and cobalt color on the obverse, and some particularly attractive orange and almond-purple on the reverse.
