Description: Substantial detailing remains for each member of this septet, and all face up with a varying degree of brown coloration. Included are: 1840 N-8 "large date" (AU, superior hard chocolate-brown and original), 1841 N-4 (AU, occasional fleeting old hairlines), 1842 N-7 (R.3) "large date" (XF or better with substantial flowline texture in the outer periphery), 1843 N-8 "small letters" (XF but some relatively light, older scratches over UNITED), 1844 N-1 (XF/AU, mahogany patina shows a couple of trivial hairlines in the obverse left field), 1845 (XF/tooled, the surface curiously scored perhaps to help remove abrasions), and 1846 N-8 (AU, very close to commercial UNC with hints of red except for a circulation contact mark at the bottom edge of the bust). Seven coin lot.
