Description: Gigi Consignment. Sheldon-269. A small die break from the ribbon to one of the middle curls readily tracks down attribution, and this is an early die-state example with no signs of clashing in front of the neck. Seemingly a very original example, albeit a little dark, the burnt-toast brown patina shows minute crumbles of verdigris in places, as well as a tiny dig out right of the bust. The reverse die was rotated a few degrees at the time of striking.
