Lot Title: 1835 three-cent silver MS-64, and an 1865 two-cent piece MS-64 RB, both NGC
Lot Number: 221
Description: The Crimson Collection. The reverse of the 1865 2-cent shows more orange than the obverse shows, and between them, the two sides probably share about 1/3 of the original mint color overall. This is a strong coin for the grade, showing precise striking details and unexpectedly few marks. The 1853 3-cent piece features extensive flowline texture off of well used dies, and also has a deft touch of Arctic-blue toning at the peripheries. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
