Description: Tobacco Road Collection. All are of the capped-bust type and in every case, these appear to be fully original examples with pleasing surfaces. Dimes include two pieces: 1821 JR-5 "large date" (VG, weak reverse periphery) and 1823/2 JR-1 "small Es" (Fine, very bold and amazingly free from contact). A quartet of half-dimes include: 1830 LM-2 (AU-55 according to the consignor, who states this was removed from an NGC holder at like grade, sharp with marvelous patina), 1830 LM-13 (VF, perfect dove-grey), 1831 LM-7 (AU, and remarkably choice, dusky patina), and 1834 LM-4 (XF, almond-grey overall). Six coin lot.
