Description: First is 1927-A Nordhausen 3-mark, KM#52 (MS-64, russet toning over potent luster and weirdly housed at a 90 degree angle by PCGS), struck to recognize the 1000th year of the founding of the city. A trio of Germany-Weimar Republic 5-mark examples accompany, including: 1925-G KM#47 (beautiful bone-white with intense luster), 1927-A "oak tree", KM#56 (splashed with steam-grey toning and exactingly struck), and 1927-D "oak tree" (MS-64, a fair amount of yellow-gold accenting in the periphery). Four coin lot.
