Description: Thrace Collection. Roman Empire, Geta. Obv: draped bust of Geta faces right, P SEPT GETA CAES PONT. Rev: Castor standing at left side of horse, CASTOR. Aesthetically, one of the much finer renditions as Geta's portrait displays considerable texture in the hair, and Castor's portrait boasts some exceptionally intricate details as well. Essentially the entire obverse border was brought up on a well sized flan, with the reverse very nearly as perfectly centered on this much above-average example.
