Description: The Bunsui Dam Collection. 17 graded PR-63 CAM, 73 higher at NGC. Type II / II. From the final year of emission for the series, the 1883 proof Trade dollar seldom displays much contrast at any grade level, which is why the cameo population is limited in number compared to a listed emission of around a thousand pieces. A first-glance inspection generates plenty admiration of very good eye-appeal, given that the visible hairlines are not as prevalent as one might expect, and some rim toning adds a dash of antiqued presence. Almost perfectly struck, a few trivial details at Liberty's head are not quite precisely delineated.
