Description: T.J. Consignment. Luster stubbornly refuses to give up on the reverse of 1873, despite some confused hairlining of either side. A small planchet flaw rests just left of STATES. 1877-S appears to have been naturally semi-prooflike when struck, but light wear and an encounter with a jeweler's cloth has layered some hairlines over the well detailed design. Two coin lot.
