Description: The Bert Davies Collection. First is Italy-Tuscany 1807 10-lire KM#C49.2, a gorgeous original example that has seen only honest wear. Pewter-grey overall, neither side has any distracting stains or abrasions. Accompanying is Italy-Sardinia 1835 5-lire KM#130.2, Paris mintmark and anchor privy mark at lower left, and exceedingly attractive for the XF level. Superb, even ash-grey graces the entire surface except for some ideal, deeper charcoal accents that only serve to sharpen the design elements. Two coin lot.
