Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1878-CC GSA MS-61, 1884-O NGC MS-64 DPL (no line), and an 1890-CC NGC MS-63
Lot Number: 449
Description: The K.C. Collection. No certification has been provided for 1878-CC in its GSA holder, but the cataloger suggests MS-61 in order to reflect extensive abrading of both sides. A blush of russet-gold trails along the lower obverse. A narrow band of surprisingly vivid honey-gold and teal adheres to the rims of 1884-O, beautifully framing the stunning presentation. Finally, the 1890-CC displays significantly fewer contact marks than expected, especially on the cheek, and this example flourishes an exceptionally accurate strike. Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
