Description:	Struck in so-called German silver, the surface exhibits frosty aluminum-grey with champagne highlights for the 1863 "Story & Southworth" token. These are usually seen a bit off-center as is the case here, with the obverse design favoring southeast. A curiously accompanying 1943-D half-dollar features sensational alabaster-white luster and an utterly clean obverse right field along with a very good strike. Quite the odd couple within this two coin lot.
