Description:	There is little question that this was an original 1940 five coin proof set that was simply sent in to be certified. PCGS certified all five facets of the set as follows: a Lincoln cent PR-65RD, a Jefferson nickel PR-66, a Mercury dime PR-66, a Washington quarter PR-65, and a Walking Liberty half dollar PR-66. Similar shades of faint blue toning on the Jefferson nickel and Walking Liberty half give further credence to the possibility of this being a truly original proof set. A very conservatively graded set that is destined for CAC (ck).
