Description: This is an incredibly original example, richly endowed on the obverse with thick, smoke-grey patina surrounded by tobacco-brown accents. The reverse does not exhibit quite as much variety of color, but obviously features a completely original surface as well. Most importantly, both portraits are phenomenally free from disturbance and look much like cameo devices (although of course, this is not at all a prooflike coin). Every astute collector of commemorative half-dollars simply must take a look, and appreciate what a true original is supposed to look like.
