Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1879 PR-66, and an 1883 PR-66 CAC, both PCGS
Lot Number: 614
Description: The Isallobar Collection. Arctic-white overall with but the most limited appearance of cameo frost, 1879 looks nearly pristine except for a couple of pinpoint carbon spots whose locations are kept secret without a loupe. This example offers a near-perfect strike with merely a smidge of weakness along the right side of the far left Roman I. 1883 is a beautiful example that features crystal-bright surfaces, sparkling luster and a terrific strike. Side-by-side, the softly diffused luster of 1879 contrasts interestingly with the hard brilliance of 1883 in this two coin lot.
