Description: Rarefy Consignment. Miller 6.1-M, the more common of the two "laughing head" Connecticut die-marriages. leather brown patina dominates, although effort will be required to appreciate it "through the plastic". Splendid details for the type include sharp, intricate lines bordering the major devices. Several typical, light planchet depressions are strewn about, along with isolated patches of ash-brown texture, always found for these crudely struck coppers. The obverse was centered a bit north such that triangular dentils from 2:00 through 10:00 are prominent, while the , reverse favors southeast centering.
