Description: Alison Morris Collection. Classic as a rarity in all grades, 1894 has sustained its status as a key date practically since the day collectors started pulling Morgan dollars out of circulation. The AU-55 grade states pretty much all that can be said about the strong detail, which gives way to only a touch of wear on the eagle's breast and at the center of Liberty's portrait. Circulation has hardly taken its toll on the luster, either, which seems practically complete through the fields, and the reverse features a nice, bold royal-gold ring just inside the border.
