Description: Usually available in most grades, the 1852-C offers less painful introduction to a Charlotte series rife with rarities, this example made all the more affordable by the PCGS "repaired" disclaimer. Scratches on the cheek have been irrationally treated to an abrasive process which has mostly served to impart distracting texture. Still, at the AU sharpness level, there is some redemption given by the pleasing level of detail, especially on the unaffected reverse side.
